Dr. Sanders graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 and started his career as a veterinarian in Union City, California. After working for a year and a half there, he discovered that Family Pet Care Center was looking for an associate veterinarian and was very excited to move to a practice in an area where he and his wife Lindsey would love to start a family. While Dr. Sanders thoroughly enjoys providing exceptional care to dogs and cats, he is very passionate about exotic animal medicine as well. Family Pet Care Center, with its excellent reputation for exotic animal medicine, is the ideal environment for him to work with these unique patients. Dr. Sanders also enjoys the challenges and complexities of surgery and looks forward to providing care for surgical cases at Family Pet Care Center. Another factor that drew Dr. Sanders to Family Pet Care Center is their close work with Operation Freedom Paws, as he has several family members who served in the armed forces and he sees great importance in serving veterans. Dr. Sanders lives with his wife Lindsey, who is currently a veterinary student at UC Davis, and their menagerie of dogs, cats, and snakes. In his free time, Dr. Sanders enjoys spending time with Lindsey, scuba diving, playing electric guitar, and creative writing.
Dr. Sanders will join the FPCC Family January 22nd.
