Dr. Moran graduated from UC Davis with an undergraduate degree in wildlife and fisheries biology. He worked at Marine World working with camels and elephants, before being accepted into veterinary school at UC Davis. Dr. Moran graduated from UC Davis Veterinary school in 1991. He then worked as an associate veterinarian until opening Family Pet Care Center, along with his wife Terry, in 2006. Dr. Moran has been involved with wildlife rehabilitation and falconry since his early college days. He still takes care of wildlife for San Benito county and the Nan Pipestem Wildlife rehabilitation center.
In his spare time he enjoys, old, classic movies, playing flute, camping, and reading.
